Erica Merker

Hello!  I grew up on Long Island, in New York, and spent many years living in Washington, DC before moving to Nashville.  I’m a graduate of Vanderbilt University, and received my Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Gallaudet University in Washington, DC.  I love being a pediatric speech-language pathologist!  I have a certification in the Hanen Program for Parents, and really enjoy helping parents use common, every-day routines to help their children achieve their language goals.

I have two wonderful children who I adore!  My children have needed the support of a variety of therapies in different seasons; occupational, physical, speech and feeding, which has given me a unique and compassionate perspective as I work with parents and children as a speech-language pathologist.

In my free time I love walking at Shelby Bottoms, making matcha lattes, trying new recipes and restaurants, cooking for my family and friends, and being involved with my church community.
