Breanna DeKuiper

OTD, OTR/L | CO-OWNER & LEAD OT

Hello! I was born and raised in the Nashville area. I am a graduate of Belmont University; my background includes a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I love being a pediatric occupational therapist (OT) as it allows me to be creative, get messy, and stay moving. My favorite part about being an OT is helping children turn their once-weaknesses into super-powers. Being an OT has allowed me to turn my own childhood weakness (difficulty staying still) into a creative energy that keeps children engaged during their therapy sessions.

I am passionate about using extracurricular activities, or leisure, as a mode of treatment for occupational therapy. Our treatment style allows children to learn foundational life skills in the context of their own hobbies and interests. I did martial arts for 11 years as a child and believe that it was an integral part of my own development.

I am drawn to anything that involves food, music, or being active. I have an awesome husband, a sweet little girl named Eloise, and a pup named Oliver. In my spare time, I like cooking, drinking coffee, singing (in my car), hiking, and rock climbing.

I am excited to get to know you and your family!
